We enjoy to cook ourselves and the South African produce is wonderful.

Tremendous Fillet Steak can be bought at "van Rensburg" or "Hartman" in the town (approx. 9,50 € per kg !!) also the Karoo-Lamb is a amazing and also the famous South African 'Boerewors'.

Fish: Opposite van Rensburg is a very good fishmonger, a small choice of fish but fresh and delightful! Hake, Sole and Cod are usually available from between 4.--€ - 8.--€ per Kg.
Best bread you buy on "The Farmers Market" on saturday.

You can buy all what you need (incl.very good South African Wine between 3.-€ and 6.- €) at  'Checkers', a large Supermarket about 3 minutes from GolfersHeaven. For breakfast, fantastic fruits are on offer from Pineapples to Mangos.

Also the supermarket 'Pick'n Pay' can be found in the Town and in the "Garden Route Mall".

The Liquor-Store with the best sortiment (and the best prices ) is 'Ultra-Liquor' on the Courtenay Road. (Road to the Mall)

In the modern 'Garden Route Mall' about 10 minutes away are 125 shops, including restaurants and banks. Everything you need is here. New since october 2015 the "Eden Meander Mall" with 50 shops opposite to the "Garden Route Mall".

Both Malls are also open on Sundays. It is not allowed to sell Alcohol in South Africa on Sundays!

In the Mall is a 'Woolworths' store, not to be compared to Woolworth in Europe (similar to Marks & Spencer)! It has a restaurant offering Coffee and various Sandwiches and a buffet lunch is also available. Highly recommended. Also 'Mugg & Bean' in the "Garden Route Mall" we can recommend.
